Hey Now!

About Me

I’m likely not too different than you; a die hard fan of the most beautiful and complex rock and roll band in the land. The Grateful Dead haven’t stopped playing the soundtrack of my life since I first hopped on that colorful bus in 1978, as I graduated high school and headed to college in upstate New York. It’s been a calliope of sound, a circus, a symphony.

I’ve danced in the patchwork quilt of twirling, smiling deadheads, stood with you all with my eyes closed, happily floating in the space of dreams, and tiptoed down some dark hallways. I’ve reached down to pull you up, and I’ve been graciously and lovingly pulled up from some dark places myself.

This blog is a labor of love; a way to share the wonder and the glory of the music, the community, the message, and the magic.
